World heritage in Türkiye includes 18 works of historical, cultural and natural places in Türkiye. Turkey joined this convention on March 16, 1983, and by 2020, in addition to 18 registered sites, 83 sites from this country have been included in the tentative list.

As described in the UNESCO World Heritage Convention - established in 1972 - UNESCO World Heritage Sites are places of cultural or natural significance. According to the UNESCO convention, after registration by this committee, any work must be given special attention by the country that keeps the work, and it is forbidden to carry out any interference or any action that would endanger it.

The Grand Mosque and Divarici Hospital, the historical areas of Istanbul and the Gomer National Park and the rock sites of Cappadocia were the three places that were included in the world list for the first time at the ninth meeting of the World Heritage Committee in 1985, which was held in Paris, France. Aphrodisias, in 2017 and Gobekli Tepe in 2018 are the latest places to be added to this list. Aizanovi, Church of the Holy Cross, Alanya, Lykia, Essos, Priene, Perga, Zyugma, Ashrafoglu Mosque, Şanlıurfe, Işak Pasha Palace and Karain Palaeolithic cave are among the places proposed by Turkey to be included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
